It takes approximately 6-7 total hours of travel which covers the total distance of 205 kilometers from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The route is not straight-forward. It is the route from one valley to another, which means a lot of turns on roads, uphill and downhill throughout the tour. The city of Pokhara is an exotic place which has been attracting tourists from all over the globe for many years now. It is known for natural big lakes, mountains, waterfalls and many more to enjoy.
The tour starts from Kathmandu down to Naubise on Tribhuvan Highway and continues on Prithvi Highway to Pokhara. Normally, it is a good idea to travel early morning and rest stop for lunch for some delicious Nepalese food. You should reach Pokhara by the evening on the same day.
Day 01:
You will be picked from your hotel room or any other residence in the early morning. You will reach Pokhara by the evening on the same day.
Day 02:
This is the main day in Pokhara when you have the opportunity to see Pokhara overall. An early morning ride to Sarangkot for the close sun-rise view is highly recommended. The early sun rise view with the close Himalayas in Sarangot is awesome. People don’t get enough of this even after visiting multiple times. On the way back from Sarangkot you will see some breath-taking views of the Himalayas. This Himalaya range consists of Fish-Tail and Annapurna mountains. They are one of the tallest mountains in the world. Depending upon your time on this crunch day you should also get the opportunity to visit famous Temples, Lake Fewa with boating, Davis Fall and other places in the city of Pokhara.
Day 03:
Early morning ride back to Kathmandu via the same highway.
