Kathmandu – Chitwan Tour

Chitwan is located approximately 155 kilometers South-West of the Kathmandu valley. This place is well known for the Chitwan National Park, a preserved area in the Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal. It is a dense forest and grassy plains, home to some endangered species such as Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, and many bird species.

Day 01:

You will be picked from your hotel or any residence in the morning. We will start traveling to Chitwan from Kathmandu. It is recommended to travel early to Chitwan because you will get the opportunity to rest stop at some famous places on the way for you to have delicious Nepalese lunch. During your travel to Chitwan, you will come across some scenic views of Trishuli and Narayani rivers. It could take about 5 hours to reach Chitwan depending upon the traffic conditions and time you would spend on rest stops.

Day 02:

Early morning on the second day, post breakfast, you may start your day with bird watching and canoeing in the Rapti River. Canoeing is thrilling as you come across crocodiles, which are normally dormant. On the same day, you may book for the Jeep Safari or Elephant ride to go into the forest. Elephant ride is fun, but the jeep safari will give you the better chance to cover more areas inside the forest. You will get to see one-horned rhinos, wild boars, monkeys, leopards, and tigers if you are lucky. There will be a different exciting world for you in the forest.

Day 03:

On the third day, after having delicious breakfast, you will be riding back to Kathmandu.
